The Old Harbor
The Old Venetian Harbor, a balanced mixing of Cretan, Ottoman and Venetian architecture and features, is the iconic attraction of our town. It was built in the 14th century for protection against raids. Today, it stands as the most visited and photographed place of interest, full of restaurants, cafes, and monuments of various historical periods.

Our Harbor boasts beautiful narrow alleys across the old town where, to your astonishment, you will have lots of different encounters. From people sitting on their front door having a cup of coffee to lively cafes, souvenir shops and clothes shops.
